End-of-course quiz: validate what you learned about Terraform

You have gone through the 7 lessons of this course. This free quiz checks that the essentials have been acquired: the role of the plan command, the function of the state file, what a provider is, the origin of OpenTofu and the meaning of the declarative approach.

Five questions, three minutes, no commitment

The quiz is free and requires no plan. Every answer is corrected and explained, including when you get it wrong.

What the quiz contains

  • 5 multiple-choice questions, drawn at random from the course's question pool
  • Passing threshold: 60%, i.e. at least 3 correct answers out of 5
  • Estimated duration: 3 minutes, with no timer
  • 5 attempts per 24-hour window, with no penalty
  • Detailed correction after submission: the right answer and its explanation for every question

You can go back and change your answers before submitting. Nothing is saved along the way: if you leave the page, the attempt is lost, but it does not consume your quota.

What you get by passing

A discovery attestation displayed on screen, in your name. It confirms that you have absorbed this free course.

Let us be precise on this point, because the nuance matters: this attestation is not a certificate. It is neither downloadable nor verifiable by a third party, and is not meant to appear on a résumé. A five-question exam does not prove a professional skill, and we prefer to say so rather than hand you a document nobody would take seriously.

At the end of the quiz, you will see what the certificate issued at the end of the premium courses looks like, with your name on it, so you know exactly what you would get.
