2008-2009: The early days
Patrick Debois, a Belgian consultant, was frustrated by the lack of collaboration between Dev and Ops during migration projects.
Velocity 2009 Conference
The decisive turning point: the presentation "10+ Deploys Per Day: Dev and Ops Cooperation at Flickr" by John Allspaw and Paul Hammond.

DevOpsDays Ghent 2009
